Birthday Hackathon

Sat, February 22, 2020
8:00 AM UTC

Birthday hackathon wants to be a cozy coding event: A day for you to sharpen your skillset without any pressure or jury judging on challenges. We're meeting up in a nice coworking space to hack the day away, get our hands dirty on communication stacks by Twilio, AWS and Slack, and try out something new.

https://www.birthday-hackathon.de/

The hackathon will last for the whole Saturday, Feb 22nd and is not focused on a certain tech stack. We instead have prepared some inspirations for you to think of:

  • Conversational interfaces
  • Frontends to bow down for
  • Engage, Mr Data!
  • Map me, baby!
  • A Lisk in Chains

Agenda

10:00 Welcome session, introduction of our good friends, challenge presentation
10:30 Your turn: team building, idea pitching, birthday chaining

Birthday Hackathon will take place at Wild Code School Berlin's coworking space, close to U9 Nauener Platz.

The hackathon is currently supported by Audibene, Wild Code School Berlin and Turbine Kreuzberg and we already got Twilio, Lisk and Mapbox aboard to support us with APIs and some free tiers. We're still looking for volunteers, partners and supporters for that day: if you'd like to be aboard the organizing team or have a special challenge for us let us know first :)

All contributions follow our golden "*1 line of code*" rule, so demos and live code will be abound. You don't have to register to get into our stream but if you do, we send you updates (and nothing else) like the final YouTube URL of the stream before the event.
