coding portugal is a developer focused meetup series that connects, educates and entertains coders of all trades and skill levels. During summertime we're keeping the 2nd chapter of coding portugal small and cozy, so be prepared to have an enjoyable evening with networking options and open discussions.
This time we're proudly hosted by Full Fabric (https://www.fullfabric.com/) in their event space at Rua Nova do Almada, quite close to the metro station Baixa-Chiado. We're also really happy that they'll take care of amenities and refreshments.
19:00 doors open
19:45 Mário Prada - Introduction to React
20:15 "coffee" break (there will be certainly more options than coffee)
20:30 Paulo Correia: Why developers should care about Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
(BONUS 21:00 João Henrique: Getting started with Git and GitHub)
21:30 open discussion & networking
For Lisbon we were able to settle two talks - with an optional third one if you simply cannot get enough :) Mário Prada's introduction into React.js will help you in case you're still a little undecided which frontend library works best for you. Paulo promised us to give an overview of robotic process automation and how it might affect workplaces all over the industry in the near future. If there's still some time left, João will happily introduce you in the better or lesser known depths of Git & Github.
We're looking forward to seeing you again! If you want to join the discussion, here's an invite to our Slack channel: https://join.slack.com/t/coding-earth/shared_invite/enQtNjc4NjgyNzQ2OTM1LThmMjliOGIzODQ0NzY4MzBiNzZjYmU3ZDgyOWJmNWFmZjJjOTkwN2RiMTI3ZDhjMDA0ZTc4OGFiYWNjNjBiZTY and here's our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/codingportugal/ . Feel free to get in touch with us either way. We're here for you to support you with anything you need.
All contributions follow our golden "*1 line of code*" rule, so demos and live code will be abound. You don't have to register to get into our stream but if you do, we send you updates (and nothing else) like the final YouTube URL of the stream before the event.
